do I take my car if it needs to be fixed?
You can take your vehicle to any
reputable, licensed repair facility, automobile
dealership or repair shop. Ask them to
diagnose the problem with your vehicle
and then get an itemized estimate of repair.
Then, before any work is done on the car, call our
claims center to open a new claim using our toll-free telephone
number.
No, at your request we will open a claim and
pay the repair facility. The only things you will
be responsible for are sales tax, and your
deductible, if applicable. As the customer,
you are responsible for any non-covered components
in conjunction with a covered repair.
What
if the repair facility tells me I have to pay the
bill out of my own pocket?
If for some reason the repair facility
wants direct payment from you, call us at our
toll-free telephone number, and ask for the claims
center. Then, we will mail you a check for
the approved amount.
